I wouldn't use a graph/chart control for this. You can use a simple text box in the detail section of a report. A little math will allow you to set the Left and Width properties of the text box to match the Beginning and duration of the project. The duration is DateDiff("d",[BeginDate] , [EndDate]).
There is a sample Calendar demo on my web site that shows how to use some simple math to manipulate these properties based on data. I have a new version that hasn't been posted yet that has a better example for you. I could email the new file to you or you could download the older from

Hello. I hope someone here can help me with a chart problem as well.
I have a table PROJECTS with BEGINNING and ENDING DATES for each
project.
What
I want is a chart on a REPORT (not a FORM) which shows each project and
a
horizontal bar graph showing the date range based on BEGINNING and
ENDING
date.
Like the gentlemen who first posted here, I have not even been able to
get
off
the ground with this. I know of the chart wizard as well as the
INSERT....CHART option, followed by right-clicking on the chart,
selecting
PROPERTIES and filling in various criteria.
That said, I still cannot even get off the ground with this.
Any suggestions?
